The module installation structure is designed for customer convenience, facilitating easy maintenance. Feature

The RCR-5510 is an advanced hybrid electric card reader that offers versatile functionality. It is capable of reading information from magnetic stripe cards based on ISO7810 and 7811 standards. Additionally, it supports reading and writing capabilities for EMV, 7816 PBOC 3.0 IC cards, as well as RFID cards such as S50, S70, and ID cards.
 

When inserting a contact IC card into the reader, it is important to note the correct orientation: hold the IC card and insert it with the front side of the chip facing towards the reader. In contrast, contactless IC cards can be read and written on both sides and in both directions, providing added convenience and flexibility compared to contact IC cards.

Caution During Operation

1) Prior to powering on, ensure that you connect the communication interface before the power interface. This sequence ensures a proper connection and avoids any potential issues.
2) To ensure the safety of your product, please ensure that the input voltage does not exceed 40V. Adhering to this voltage limit is crucial for the optimal functioning and longevity of the device.
3) It is important to set the BPS (bits per second) rate correctly. The default setting is 9600bps. Please verify and adjust the BPS rate as necessary to ensure smooth communication between the card reader and the connected system.
4) inserting a magnetic card, ensure that the magnetic stripe is facing down and insert it on the right side of the card reader. This correct orientation guarantees accurate reading of the magnetic stripe data.
