This gadget features a CMOS image sensor and NFC capabilities, enabling it to serve as a barcode reader. It can maintain a 1280*800 pixel resolution even in brightly lit environments. Moreover, it is equipped with an internal white LED light for brightness and provides a 58° horizontal (left and right) and 51° vertical (up and down) field of view. To deliver user guidance, a buzzer is included within the scanner. For linking with external gadgets, the scanner is compatible with USB, RS232, and TTL connections.
The RCQ-728 barcode scanner supports TTL232 and USB interfaces (CDC). It efficiently reads a wide range of codes, including 2D formats like PDF417, QR Code, and DataMatrix, alongside 1D types such as Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, Code 39, UPC-A, UPC-E, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, ITF-6, ITF-14, ISBN, Code 93, and more. This scanner excels in accuracy, capable of reading codes accurately up to 5 miles away.
While in use, the scanner allows users to rotate images to any preferred angle for flexibility. It can precisely identify scanned images even when they are tilted or skewed by up to ±50°.
The scanner offers distinct scanning distances tailored to different types of codes:
