Sequential Connection: When connecting the card reader, it is important to connect the communication interface first, followed by the power interface. After ensuring proper connections, power on the device.
Input Voltage Limit: To ensure the safety and longevity of the product, please make sure not to exceed an input voltage of 40V. Adhering to this limit will prevent potential damage to the card reader.
BPS Rate Configuration: It is crucial to set the BPS (bits per second) rate correctly for smooth communication. The default setting for the RCR-5510 is 9600bps. Ensure that the BPS rate is correctly configured to match your specific requirements.
Magnetic Card Insertion: When inserting a magnetic card, take care to position the card with the magnetic stripe facing down. Insert the card from the right side of the reader to ensure accurate reading and reliable performance.
IC Card Insertion: For proper IC card insertion, ensure that the chip faces up. If inserting the card from the front, insert the end closest to the chip first. RF Card Usage: When using an RF card, the card can be inserted in any direction, as the orientation does not affect its operation. However, it is essential to insert the RF card only in the designated RF position for proper functionality.
